(Hood) 11 : 50

And into 'Aad, their brother Hood. He said: “Oh my people, you serve Lord Allah; you have no deity except Him; indeed, you are none except forgers”.

“Ilah” (Deity) refers to the One to whom we seek refuge and help, the One in whom we place our trust, the One we should fear, and before Whom everyone must answer about their life. All 313 Messengers were sent with Adhikr—the Truth and Proof—to teach humanity that there is no deity except the Lord, and therefore, we should worship Him alone, as explained in verses 21:24-25. It is the duty of those who inherit the Lord’s Book to remind people, in their language, with Adhikr, that there are no intercessors or patrons besides the Lord of the universe, as stated in verse 10:43. Only those who uphold this can truly be called Muslims.

However, among the followers of the Messenger Muhammad today, some hypocrites are falsely attributing lies to Allah by introducing intercessors and patrons. Their followers are blindly accepting these false claims. These misguided individuals will testify against their souls, acknowledging their disbelief at the time of their death, as mentioned in verse 7:37, and on the Day of Judgment, as mentioned in verse 6:130. See explanation 9:67-68; 10:28-30, 104-106.
